1. Agreement to Terms

Deck Building Cincinnati provides residential and commercial outdoor construction services, including but not limited to:

• Deck repair and restoration
• Outdoor kitchen construction
• Pergola installation
• Paver patio and hardscaping
• Fire pit construction

All services are subject to availability and are limited to the Greater Cincinnati area and surrounding communities.

3. Free Estimates

We offer free, no-obligation estimates for all our services. Estimates are provided based on the information available at the time of assessment and are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance. Final project pricing may vary based on:

• Changes in material costs
• Modifications to project scope requested by the customer
• Unforeseen site conditions discovered during construction
• Permit requirements or code compliance updates

4. Project Agreements

All construction projects require a signed written agreement between the customer and Deck Building Cincinnati. This agreement will include:

• Detailed scope of work
• Material specifications
• Total project cost and payment schedule
• Estimated timeline for completion
• Warranty terms

Work will not commence until the agreement is signed and the initial deposit is received.

5. Payment Terms

Payment terms are outlined in each individual project agreement. Generally, our payment structure is as follows:

• Deposit: A deposit (typically 25–35% of the total project cost) is required to secure your project date and order materials.
• Progress Payment: A mid-project payment may be required for larger projects.
• Final Payment: The remaining balance is due upon project completion and final inspection.

We accept cash, checks, credit cards, and financing through our partner programs (subject to credit approval).

6. Warranties

Workmanship Warranty

Deck Building Cincinnati provides a lifetime structural warranty on all new deck construction. This warranty covers defects in workmanship and structural integrity under normal use and conditions.

Material Warranties

Material warranties are provided by the respective manufacturers (e.g., Trex, TimberTech) and are passed through to the customer. We will assist with any manufacturer warranty claims.

Warranty Exclusions

Warranties do not cover:

• Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or lack of maintenance
• Damage from natural disasters, acts of God, or extreme weather
• Normal wear and tear, including natural weathering
• Modifications made by parties other than Deck Building Cincinnati
• Cosmetic issues that do not affect structural performance

7. On-Time Guarantee

We stand behind our On-Time Guarantee: if we fail to complete your project by the agreed-upon date (barring weather delays or customer-requested changes), you will receive a 5% discount on the total project cost.

8. Permits and Inspections

Deck Building Cincinnati handles all necessary building permits and inspections required for your project. Permit costs are included in your project estimate unless otherwise stated. We ensure all work complies with local building codes and regulations.

9. Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel a project agreement under the following terms:

• Before materials are ordered: Full deposit refund, less a $250 administrative fee.
• After materials are ordered: Deposit refund less the cost of materials already purchased and any non-refundable expenses.
• After construction begins: Customer is responsible for all costs incurred up to the cancellation date.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Deck Building Cincinnati shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to our services or this agreement. Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for the specific project in question.

11. Website Use

By using our Site, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information in all forms and communications
• Not use the Site for any unlawful purpose
• Not attempt to interfere with the proper operation of the Site
• Not reproduce, duplicate, or exploit any part of the Site without express written permission

12. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, design elements, and photographs — is the property of Deck Building Cincinnati and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any content without our prior written consent.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Hamilton County, Ohio.
